What happens next
We review the linked source and other credible reporting. If the NEWSHIFT wording is wrong or misleading, we will correct, clarify or remove it. If the error originated with a publisher, we may update our summary and retain the link to the publisher’s correction.
Developing stories
Breaking reports frequently change as more information becomes available. A later development is not automatically a correction, but we will avoid presenting outdated information as current.
